JANET KAY FINN


 

JANET KAY FINN, of Bath, formerly of Oakley, 70, passed away on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at her home. Janet was born on June 19, 1951 to Clifford D. and Georgia A. (Patterson) Wilhelm in Saginaw. She graduated from Chesaning High School with the class of 1969. Shortly after graduation, Janet married Richard C. Finn Sr. on July 26, 1969. Together they raised four children and celebrated 32 years of marriage before he predeceased her in 2001. Janet worked for General Motors for 30 years, retiring in 2011. During her life, she enjoyed cooking, dancing, destroying everyone at cards, fishing, traveling, gardening, and playing the accordion. She was a member of Lakeside Chapel of Park Lake. She was also involved with the VFW, Eagles, and the Moose Lodge. Janet is survived by her four children, Richard (Sabrina) Finn Jr., of Kansas City, Kan., LTC Gregory (Joy) Finn, of Palm Coast, Fla., Kevin (Sarah) Finn, of Bath, and Ann (Jacob) Hernandez, of Crowley, Texas; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two siblings, Bonnie (Terry) Law and Clifford (Ruth) Wilhelm Jr.; faithful companion, Dennis Postma; and her beloved dog Brandy. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Finn Sr., her parents, and her brother, Mark Wilhelm.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at McGeehan Funeral Homes Martin Chapel in Chesaning. Burial followed at Ridge Road Cemetery in Oakley.
