On Friday, May 31, a joint meeting was held at the Chesaning Area Emergency Relief (CAER) Center in Chesaning with the Young at Heart Club and the Chesaning Area Senior Citizen Association. Approximately 40 people were on hand for the presentation. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the board of directors and the by-laws of the newly-formed association. Those in attendance were given information on the purpose, ideas and goals for the present and future of senior citizens in the Chesaning and surrounding area. A search is still underway for a new facility for the senior citizens. Pictured are, front row, from left to right: Kenn Bueche, Rose Mary Newcomb and Denise Ebenhoeh.
