BLUEBERRY CO-ED SOFTBALL – The Montrose Blueberry Festival co-ed softball tournament will be played on Saturday, Aug. 11 beginning at 8 a.m. in the softball complex on N. Seymour Road. PARA-GOLF CHAMPIONSHIPS – The 70th annual National Amputee Golf Championships, the 29th Senior National Amputee Open, and the USA International Para-Golf Championship will be played Aug. 20-24 at The Fortress Golf Course, 950 Flint St., Frankenmuth. The tournament is presented by the National Amputee Golf Association in partnership with The United States Adaptive Golf Alliance. For registration, visit usaga.org/events. STC ATHLETIC PASS ORDER FORMS – St. Charles athletic pass order forms are now available at the high school office. Family passes are $200, and are good for one year for all home events except MHSAA tournaments. Individual adult passes are $75, and student passes (kindergarten-12th grade) are $25, and are also good for one year for all home events except MHSAA tournaments. All members must be living in the household in order to go on the family pass. However, college students can still go on the pass. Family members who are married or have their own families must

purchase their own passes. Boyfriends/girlfriends of students must purchase their own passes; they cannot be included in the family unless they live with the family year-round. Members of the military can go on the family pass. A student pass is for anyone enrolled in St. Charles Community Schools. Preschoolers do not pay. Money and forms should be returned to the high school office, or mailed to 891 W. Walnut Street. Checks should be made payable to St. Charles Community Schools.

STC DECREASES PARTICIPATION FEES – The St. Charles Community Schools Athletic Department has decreased athletic participation fees from $100 to $75 at the high school level, and from $65 to $50 at the middle school level. However, the fees must be paid before the first athletic contest of the first sport the student participates in. For example, if a student plays football, there will be a one-time fee of $75 due by Thursday, Aug. 23. Once the fee is paid, it will cover all sports in which the student would like to participate. High school due dates are: Football, Aug. 23; volleyball, Aug. 17; cross country, Aug. 17; sideline cheer, Aug. 23; boys’ basketball, Nov. 27; girls’ basketball, Dec. 3; wrestling, Dec. 5; boys’/girls’ bowling, Dec. 1; competitive cheer, Nov. 19; softball, March 20; baseball, March 20; and track, March 20. Middle school due dates are: Volleyball, Sept. 10; boys’ basketball, Jan. 16; girls’ basketball, Nov. 12; wrestling, Nov. 8; boys’ track and field, March 20.
