DAVID H. FORSYTH, of Chesaning, 57, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 3, 2018, at his home. David was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 5, 1960, a son of the late Dr. Henry T. and Hettie R. (O’Dell) Forsyth. David graduated from Chesaning High School and continued his education, achieving his goal of a master’s degree from Central Michigan University. He taught high school English and coached girls’ volleyball at Chesaning High School.

Those left to cherish his life include his sisters, Dawn Forsyth, of Kalkaska, Patricia L. Stevenson, of Frankenmuth, and Kimberly Forsyth, of New York; his brothers, Dr. Douglas (Brenda) Forsyth, of Chesaning and Stuart (Susan) Forsyth, of Tampa, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation is to take place. A celebration of David’s life was held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, 2018, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1629 W. Brady Road (M-57), Chesaning. Rev. Timothy S. Woycik officiated. Arrangements were entrusted to the Misiuk Funeral Home of Chesaning. Charitable donations can be given in memory of David to the Chesaning High School volleyball program.
