DIAMOND LYNX SIGN-UP – Maple Grove and New Lothrop Diamond Lynx youth league baseball and softball will be holding registration sessions for the upcoming season on Sunday, March 11, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Maple Grove Township Hall kitchen; and Tuesday, March 13, from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at New Lothrop Elementary School. Eligible ages are preschool (5 or older by Dec. 31) through eighth grade (current grade). Those who are unable to attend any of these sessions should call Ralph Angst at (989) 323-0151 or Chad Henige at (989) 860-8885. All registrations are due before the end of the last registration day scheduled. Follow the group on Facebook for updates and forms.

UMPIRES NEEDED – Maple Grove and Diamond Lynx is looking for people (high school student and adults) to umpire youth baseball and softball games at Maple Grove Park. Games take place in the early evenings, Monday through Thursday, beginning the week of May 7. A training session will be arranged for all umpires prior to the start of the season. If interested, call Ralph Angst at (989) 323-0151 or Chad Henige at (989) 860- 8885 before May 1.

DIAMOND LYNX NEEDS VOLUNTEERS – Maple Grove and New Lothrop Diamond Lynx is looking for adult volunteers to chalk foul lines on the fields on the four or five diamonds needed for the day’s games. It is estimated it would take about an hour to complete. Diamond Lynx would like to get enough volunteers so each person would only be needed one day per week. Training will be available. Those who would like to help the youth program with this task are asked to call Brady Wendling at (810) 955-4004 before May 1.
