JEANETTE FRANCES SCHULTE, of Chesaning, 91, passed away on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at her home. Jeanette was born on September 14, 1926 to Charles and Caroline (Albert) Drexler in St. Charles. She gradu­ated from Chesaning High School. She married Thomas Schulte on October 18, 1947 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church; they celebrated 62 years of marriage before he preceded her in death in January 2010. Jeanette spent her life as a loving homemaker raising her children. During her life, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, and cooking. She was also known for baking amazing apple pies. Above all, Jeanette loved being with her family and friends. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church.

Jeanette is survived by her children, Dan Schulte, Steve Schulte, Bill (Edna) Schulte, Jeff (Janis) Schulte, Mike (Colleen) Schulte, and Chris Schulte; her grandchildren, Erin (Stratos) Dallis, Sara (Robert) Owens, Brian (Gretchen) Schulte, Nicole Schulte, Kristin (Dakota) Bolton, and Darryn (Taeler) Schulte; her seven great-grandchildren; and her best friend, Lorraine Cowman. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas; and her siblings, Mildred, Harold, Wayne, Walt, Edna, and Carl.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at St. Peter Catholic Church, with Father Bill Gruden officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to the Nelson-House Funeral Homes Martin Chapel in Chesaning. Memorial contributions are sug­gested to the Chesaning Area Emergency Relief (CAER) Center.
