St. Charles Area Health Center announces clinic services for October

ST. CHARLES – The St. Charles Area Health Center, 120 N. Vine St., in St. Charles, has announced its clinic services for October.

Free blood pressure services will be offered on Friday, Oct. 6, from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome and clients must be at least 18 years of age. Nurse consultation and educational material is given to help clients better understand their blood pressure.

Immunization services will be offered on Thursday, Oct 5, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. and on Thursday, Oct. 19, from 9 to 11:15 a.m. and 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. The required vaccines for infants and children are available. School immunizations and record updates, as well as seasonal flu and adult immunizations are also provided. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call (989) 758-3840.

WIC services will be offered every Wednesday in October from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. WIC is a supplemental food program for eligible pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children (ages 1-5). Nutrition counseling and education by nutritionists and registered dieticians are provided. Lead testing for children ages 1-5 are also offered.
