95th Birthday


Theresa (Rehmann) Zajac Theresa (Rehmann) Zajac Theresa (Rehmann) Zajac celebrated her 95th birthday at her home on Sunday, September 17, 2017, with family neighbors and friends. A potluck party was enjoyed with wonderful company, excellent food, entertaining music and beautiful weather.

Theresa was born on September 18, 1922, to John and Margaret Rehmann in St. Charles, the sixth of nine children. She worked at Wilcox (Eaton) during World War II, then for Rehmann Tailoring and Dry Cleaning in Saginaw until she married Stanley Zajac on May 20, 1950. Stan passed away in July, 1979.

She did housekeeping for the church and rectory at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for 17 years, retiring in 1997.

Her children are Thomas (Susan) Zajac, of Midland, Joann (Steve) Krzywosinski, of Chesaning, Mark (Andrea) Zajac, of Williamston, and Margaret (Keith) Ketchum, of Chesaning. She also has eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren scattered across the United States.

Theresa is an active member of Mary of the Immaculate Conception parish and Altar Society in St. Charles, the League of Catholic Women, and the Red Hat Society. She also plays cards every Friday with friends.
