Dakoda Patterson achieves Eagle Scout rank


Dakoda Patterson Dakoda Patterson CHESANING – Dakoda Patterson, of Chesaning Boy Scout Troop 335 and a recent graduate of Chesaning High School, has earned his Eagle Scout rank, the highest honor of Boy Scouts.

He has participated in the scouting program from the beginning as a Tiger Cub in first grade. In addition to earning his Eagle Scout rank, he earned his Silver Palm for having 17 additional non-required merit badges.

Patterson’s Eagle Scout project took place at Chapin United Methodist Church, where he led his troop in the beautification of the church grounds and the replacing of a wooden railing on the handicapped ramp of the hall.

Patterson’s Eagle Scout ceremony will take place on Sunday, Aug. 13 at 6 p.m. at the Chapin United Methodist Church, 19848 Chapin Road. Those who would like to share this accomplishment with him are welcome to attend.
