Tribe kickers shutout Bluejays in tough three-game stretch

Last Monday’s 1-0 win over Shepherd highlighted a recent three-game stretch for Chesaning’s varsity girls’ soccer team.

The win was sandwiched by an 8-0 loss to Ithaca on May 5 and an 8-0 defeat at the hands of Hemlock last Wednesday.

Macy Krupp scored off an assist from Adreanna Braeutigam with just six minutes to go to give the Lady Indians their dramatic win over Shepherd. Taylor Specht registered 10 gathers and four saves in recording her second shut-out of the season.

Specht had three gathers and 19 saves against Ithaca and logged six gathers and nine saves in the Hemlock loss.
