Chesaning teachers advance in probationary status

CHESANING – During the May 8 meeting of the Chesaning Union Schools Board of Education, Superintendent Mike McGough recommended two teachers for tenure and 23 teachers for probationary advancement.

Ryan Ferry and Sarah Kenyon have been granted tenure. Both had transferred in from other districts where they had already gained tenure. As a result, the two only had two years for probation before gaining tenure in Chesaning.

The following teachers have fulfilled the requirements necessary to continue to the 2016-2017 school year with probationary status, provided there is an assignment available for them.

These are Elizabeth Burnett, Alex Floury, Dylan Harrington, Michelle McDowell, Julia Sadilek, Mallorie Vrable, Matt Weigl, Mike Jackson, Mary Beningo, Will Germain, John Mimranek, Liz Tomac, Carrie Albertson, Angie Barnette, Bev Kimball, Megan Hawes, Jessica Henry, Ashley Marble, Lauren Rhoads, Caitlin Wolfe, Andrea Bitterman, Carrie Dempsey and Christl Zachar.
