The three-day educational workshop taught students about the performing arts and was open to all students, whether they attend Montrose schools or other area schools. Approximately 170 students attended the workshops and participated in the Tuesday night public performance at the Montrose school auditorium.

Drama club advisor Sarah Alguire said, “I use the drama club as a platform to continue to bring the group to Montrose and encourage students to pursue the arts by auditioning to attend the Young Americans College in California. I have four former students that are currently involved in the Young Americans.”
