CAN Council’s 18th annual golf outing set for July 18

SAGINAW – The Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) Council Great Lakes Bay Region will host its 18th annual golf outing on Monday, July 18, at Apple Mountain Resort, to benefit the CAN Council’s Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs). The CAN Council’s Children’s Advocacy Centers provide a safe, supportive environment for children who have been physically or sexually abused or have witnessed a violent act.

The day begins with breakfast at 8:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9:30 a.m. Golfers will enjoy 18 holes of golf, continental breakfast, lunch, barbecue dinner, silent auction, prizes, raffle and games of chance.

The CAN Council Great Lakes Bay Region is accepting donations and sponsorships from the community to be featured in the 18th annual golf outing. Contact Cindy Morley or Delores Gale at (989) 752-7226 for more information.
