Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Gubbins. Mr. and Mrs. Brandon Gubbins. Amanda O’Brien, of Montrose, and Brandon Gubbins, of Burt, were united in marriage on Friday, August 8, 2014 ina3p.m.ceremonyat Faith Lutheran Church of Bridgeport.

The bride is the daughter of Cynthia and Mark O’Brien, of Montrose. The groom is the son of Dearaine and Edwin Gubbins, of Burt.

The maid of honor was Amy Jungnitsch, of Burt, best friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Chelsea Schafer, of Weidman, fiancé of the brother of the groom; Megan Honsinger, of Hemlock, cousin of the bride; and Alicia Wasmiller, of Saginaw, best friend of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were Kayla Duby and Bella Duby, of Saginaw Township, cousins of the bride.

The best men was Mike Prueter, of Saginaw, cousin of the groom, and Scott Gubbins, of Burt, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Garrett Seaver, of Freeland, cousin of the groom; and Jason O’Brien, of Montrose, brother of the bride. Junior groomsmen were Jeffrey Gubbins, of Burt, cousin of the groom, and Blake Woerner, of Perry, cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception for 240 guests was held at the Golden Glow Ballroom of Saginaw.

After the ceremony, the couple honeymooned in Chicago, and will be taking a Caribbean cruise over New Year’s. They have made their home in Burt.

The bride is continuing her education at Delta College for computer science IST. The groom is employed in selection at Gordon’s Food Service in Brighton.
