It’s Here! Summer reading began Monday, June 10 at 10 a.m. Sign up for the children and teen summer reading programs.

The Book Discussion Group is reading Unsaid by Neil Abramson for our June book. We will be meeting Wednesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. Stop in and pick up a copy to enjoy. Bring a friend; there will be yummy refreshments!

Are you looking for something fun to do this summer? The Michigan Activity Pass allows you to check out free passes to museums and cultural activities in Michigan. Go to www.riverrapidslibrary.org and click on the hot air balloon on the left side.

Also available to our patrons: The MI Big Green Gym lets you check out a free pass to any state park. Check out the details at: www.mrpaonline.org/Programs/MI-Big- Green-Gym.

June is Amnesty Month! Return any overdue or lost item during the month of June and all fees and FINES associated with that item will be waived.

Dig into Reading…The Summer Reading Program for all ages now thru Friday, July 26. Stop by the library or view our website for further program information and special children’s events.

Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday – closed during June, July and August.

The next library board meeting will be on July 15 at 6 p.m.
