Tuesday, Jan. 22: Beef stroganoff with noodles, diced carrots, sweet peas, fresh fruit, wheat roll and juice.

Wednesday, Jan. 23: Baked pork loin with gravy, Belgium baby carrots, green bean casserole, baked apple potato roll, and milk.

Thursday, Jan. 24: Chili cook-off potluck.

We are collecting new and gently used winter hats, coats, gloves, snow pants, scarves, snowsuits, earmuffs, boots and other items for our Mitten Tree. We will be putting our tree up for display and collecting these winter items into January. All donations will be distributed through our local schools and Rachel’s Closet. Items can be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Montrose Township Senior Center, 200 Alfred St., Montrose, next to the elementary school. The craft class scheduled for Jan. 10 was postponed to Thursday, Jan. 31 from 10:30 to noon. We will be decorating picture frames. Please sign up in advance. If you want to purchase frames, let the center know. Supplies will be furnished, however, if you have any old jewelry, buttons, velvet ribbon, old picture frames, etc., please bring them.

Albee Senior Friends meet for activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Albee Community Center. Registration is not required. People who wish to participate may bring a friend. Programs change weekly.
