Monday, Oct. 1: Chicken and dumplings with stewed vegetables, French beans, potato roll and margarine, and one percent milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 2: Meatballs with diced tomato sauce, whole kernel corn, green beans, garlic bread and margarine, fresh fruit, and 100 percent apple juice.

Wednesday, Oct. 3: Bean soup with turkey ham, wheat crackers, tossed salad with tomatoes, French dressing, fruit cobbler, and one percent milk.

Thursday, Oct. 4: Salisbury steak with broth, parsley potatoes, mixed vegetables, fresh fruit, wheat roll and margarine, and 100 percent grape juice.

Friday, Oct. 5: Pollock almondine, au gratin potatoes, cole slaw with red peppers, multigrain roll and margarine, fruit mix, and one percent milk.


Monday, Oct. 1: BBQ beef sandwich, potato salad, carrots, fruit cup, and fat free chocolate milk.

Tuesday, Oct. 2: Veal parmasean, spaghetti noodles, mixed green beans, mixed melon salad, and whole wheat bread.

Wednesday, Oct. 3: Apple maple stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes, California blend vegetables, chilled pears, and sugar cookie.

Thursday, Oct. 4: Spanish rice and ground beef, confetti corn, corn bread, and mixed fruit salad.

Friday, Oct. 5: Omelet, sausage patty, potato continental, fruit crisp, and whole wheat bread.

Join us for a Halloween potluck (sign up in advance) and Costume Contest (judging will take place during lunch) on Wednesday, Oct. 31. We will also be passing out candy to the elementary children as they come through on their Halloween costume parade. We will be collecting unopened pre-wrapped candy all month.

Join us on Monday, Oct. 8 for a dinner date. The bus leaves at 5 p.m. , with dinner at Hong Kong Buffet, at the corner of Corunn and Linden Roads in Flint. Please sign up in advance for this event.

Flu shots will be given on Wednesday, Oct. 3 from noon to 2 p.m. Take a number as you arrive. HealthPlus and Medicare Part B are accepted. Out-ofpocket cost for flu shots will be $27 and for pneumonia shots, $35.

Puzzles and all board games are always available.

We will be having a bake sale on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Please bring in donations all wrapped and priced. The public is welcome to come into the bake sale, and donations of money or baked goods are accepted.

Albee Senior Friends meet for activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Albee Community Center. Registration is not required. People who wish to participate may bring a friend. Programs change weekly.
