CLARIFICATION – The Young Americans three-day music workshop in Montrose is only open to students in the fourth through 12th grades who attend Montrose Community Schools. A story in last week’s Citizen was unclear. The workshops will be held on Sunday, March 13, from 3:30 to 9 p.m., Monday, March 14, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Tuesday, March 15, from 4 to 6 p.m., culminating with a special performance at 7 p.m. in the Hill-McCloy High School gym. The cost of the workshop is $47 per participating student. Ticket prices for the performance are $8 for adults and $5 for students. CHESANING KIWANIS TALENT SHOW – The Chesaning Kiwanis Club’s annual Talent Show will be held on Friday, March 18, at 7 p.m. in the Chesaning Middle School auditorium. Those interested in participating should contact Lyle Schwandt at (989) 845- 3669.

GLICA WINTER POW WOW — The 34th annual Great Lake Indian Culture Association Winter Pow Wow will be held March 12-13 at Baker College in Flint, 1050 W. Bristol Road, in the Health and Fitness Center. This is a Native American Pow Wow with Native American vendors, food, dancing and singing. Hours are 1-4 p.m. and 7-10 p.m. on Saturday, and noon-3 p.m. on Sunday. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for children ages 5- 12, and free for ages under 5. For more information, contact Jack Shumaker at (810) 630-1727.
