Twin Township Ambulance serving New Lothrop, Montrose areas
NEW LOTHROP – Thirty-two years after Twin Township Ambulance (TTA) began, the emergency care provider continues to offer committed services to the community.
TTA opened its doors on July 4, 1978 in New Lothrop. The all volunteer staff was at the base 24 hours per day 7 days every week. The staff started as first aid providers, upgraded to Emergency Medical Technicians. Most recently, the group has added Paramedic staff certified to provide cardiac monitors, IV therapy and drugs as needed.
The crew responds to all patients in Albee, Maple Grove, Hazelton and Montrose as well as parts of Venice, Flushing and New Haven townships.
TTA provides both emergency and non emergency transports. Dialysis and transports from the hospital to patient homes are also available by calling the ambulance base in New Lothrop.
Twin Township also provides education for the community by providing American Heart CPR and an Emergency Medical Technician class annually.
“We at Twin Township Ambulance truly appreciate the support that we receive from the communities that we serve. It is our goal to continue to provide the best possible emergency medical care to you, our community long into the future,” said EMT and office manager Carolyn Birchmeier.
