Music Boosters craft show returns
CHESANING - A Thanksgiving weekend tradition will return to Chesaning for the 27th year, as the Chesaning Music Boosters Arts and Crafts Show welcomes more than 250 vendors on Nov. 26 and 27.
Regarded as one of Mid-Michigan’s most popular craft shows, the event will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $2.
Vendors from throughout the state will showcase their handcrafted wares at Chesaning High School and Chesaning Middle School, located on Fourth Street just north of Little Caesar’s Pizza. Crafters and artisans will sell a variety of items, including paper crafts, jewelry, specialty foods, toys, woodcrafts, candles, soap, handbags, personalized items, home décor, holiday decorations, furniture, yard decorations, clothing, candy and much more. All items are handmade.
The Chesaning Music Boosters will be selling large, reuseable fabric totes at both schools that are perfect for carrying craft show purchases.
Free shuttle bus transportation is provided between schools, and concessions will be available at both sites. Parking is free.
For safety purposes, no strollers, please.
The annual event helps kick off Chesaning's Candlelight Walk festivities, which attracts thousands of visitors to the village each Thanksgiving weekend. Proceeds benefit the school district’s music programs. For more information, contact Carol at (989) 661-2365.
