Last year they“ had plans that didn’t work out,” Bob said. They were on the road for a while, but learned they were needed back in Chesaning. They returned in September.

Lately, Bob and Julie have been running into people in town who think they’re just visiting. But that’s not the case. They’re really back.

“We are carrying on the scrapbooking,” Julie explained. They’ve already hosted a few scrapbooking retreats that have been well received. Scrapbooking and stamp demonstrations are conducted in the stylish and well-lit work area offered by the renovated lower level of the four-story home. Jolee Dankert is demonstrating Stampin’ Up products and has groups scheduled for one Sunday a month for the next five months.

WORKSPACE – Bob and Julie Bloom continue to offer scrapbooking and stamping retreats, as well as hosting small group conference meetings. The meeting facility in the lower level is also available for retreats and small group conferences and activities. Groups utilizing the facility can enjoy the hospitality and food available through The Stone House, or bring their own food if they prefer.

Bob and Julie wanted people in the community to know, “We’re still here in Chesaning. We’re not here because we have to be. We’re here because we like it here.”
