(989) 845-6565 The Christmas dinner put on by the Chesaning Parks and Recreation Department will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 9 for area seniors. Please call to sign up. Also, be at the middle school and seated before 11:30 a.m. The silent auction will end at our Christmas Party at noon on Wednesday, Dec. 16. Please stop in and check out the many nice items we have which would make nice gifts.Your purchase will help the seniors out. There will be an exchange of gifts at our Christmas Party on Wednesday, Dec. 16. We ask that the ladies bring a lady’s gift and the men a man’s gift. Gifts shoudl be at least $5.00. On Wednesday, Dec. 30 we will have a potluck dinner after the center hours of 2 p.m. This is not an activity of the Commission on Aging, however, we would like you to sign up in advance so we can order the meat accordingly. Games and bingo will be played and dinner will be at 5 p.m. Bring a passing dish

Brady Senior Center

(989) 845-7200 Hours are now 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Brady Center seniors welcome those who are 60 years old and older to join them for daily activities. The Brady Senior Center no longer offers transportation due to budget cuts. Center participants are asked to call ahead for meal planning purposes. Monday, Nov. 30: Bid euchre; puzzles. Tuesday, Dec. 1: Bid euchre; puzzles. Wednesday, Dec. 2: Bid euchre; puzzles. Thursday, Dec. 3: Bingo; bid euchre; puzzles. Friday, Dec. 4: Bid euchre; puzzles.

Albee Senior Friends

10645 East Road (M-13), Burt The Albee Senior Christmas Party will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at the Albee Community Center on M-13. The doors will open at 11 a.m. with dinner at noon. The cost is $9, and reservations are required. Call by Nov. 28 at (989) 845- 6133 of (989) 770-4462. There will also be prizes and drawings, and they will be collecting food and donations for the needy. Albee Senior Friends meet for activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Albee Community Center. Registration is not required. People who wish to participate may bring a friend. Programs change weekly.
