      On April 20, 2006, Governor Jennifer Granholm signed into law a set of graduation requirements called the Michigan Merit Curricu lum. These graduation requirements are among the most rigorous in the nation. Students entering high school must do so with the skills and abilities that will enable them to succeed at that level.

KC Haiti Relief Fund sends check
      Dear Editor, Knights of Columbus in Chesaning would like to thank everybody that donated for the Haiti Relief Fund. A check for $500.00 was mailed out this week to help the people in Haiti.
